Discover, Design, and Express Through the Arts

Our Art & Design Program inspires students to explore their creativity while developing practical skills in visual arts, graphic design, and 3D animation. Led by Mr Hunter, a Pratt Institute graduate whose work has been featured at The Metropolitan Museum of Art (The Met), and with professional experience designing for Nike, the NBA Brooklyn Nets, the NFL, Versace, and Revlon, students learn from an active industry professional whose work appears in magazines and on billboards. Mr Hunter expertise in painting, digital illustration and design provide real-world insight while nurturing each child’s artistic growth. Our teachers come from some of the best art schools and bring their professional experience directly to our students, helping them learn real industry skills in a fun, creative way.

The program blends traditional and digital media, teaching drawing, painting, graphic design, computer graphics, and 3D animation. Students develop creativity, critical thinking, problem-solving skills, and confidence in visual storytelling. Classes emphasize collaboration, attention to detail, perseverance, and hands-on project completion. Supporting Leon, other professional instructors from his company mentor students, providing guidance and industry knowledge to ensure a rich learning experience.

By the end of the program, students gain the skills to express themselves visually, understand professional design principles, and create high-quality art while learning from a mentor who is actively shaping the creative industry.

  1. Painting

Painting encourages creativity and emotional expression, helping children process feelings and build confidence. It teaches patience and problem-solving as they mix colors and bring ideas to life. Many who develop painting skills find careers in fine arts, set design, or teaching.

  2. Graphic Design

Graphic design helps children understand visual communication and digital creativity. It sharpens their technical thinking and teamwork as they learn to create posters, logos, and online graphics. These skills open doors to modern careers in marketing, animation, and web design.

  3. Sculpture

Sculpting builds a child’s sense of space, form, and texture, improving hand-eye coordination and focus. It encourages patience, imagination, and resilience when shaping materials. Many sculptors go on to work in architecture, set building, and museum art installations.

  4. Photography

Photography trains children to see the world through a thoughtful, storytelling lens. It enhances observation skills, emotional intelligence, and appreciation for detail. With practice, young photographers can pursue careers in media, journalism, and fashion.

  5. Drawing

Drawing teaches discipline, planning, and precision while helping children express thoughts visually. It sharpens focus and boosts fine motor skills. Skilled young artists often find paths in illustration, animation, or concept art.

  6. Screen Printing

Screen printing combines creativity with entrepreneurship, teaching children how to design and produce wearable or decorative art. It builds confidence and business awareness as they create tangible products. This skill can lead to work in fashion, branding, or custom printing businesses.
